Question KVM switch

hello
i now have two computers in my home studio (1 for pro tools and another one for other stuff : internet etc).
i want to buy a KVM switch so i'd like to know if anyone has any positive or negative things to say about these in relation to pro tools.
does pro tools like a kvm switch ?
which one would you recommend ?
(i have ps2 ports for both keyboard and mouse)

I've got a Gefen and have no issues in Pro Tools with it.

Cheers,

I used an Avocent for a few years .. trouble free.
I still have it as it may come in handy, plus its great piece of kit.
No problems regarding Pro Tools whatsoever.
P.C. models of KVM seem to be more prevalent, easier to hook up peripherals.
As i,m on Mac, choice was a bit limiting, due to the DVI and USB keys etc

Synergy lets you easily share a single mouse and keyboard between multiple computers with different operating systems, without special hardware. All you need is a LAN connection. It's intended for users with multiple computers, where each system uses its own display.

Thanks a lot guys !
Synergy seems like a great idea, but i only have a single display in front of me (it sounds better imo). i'll only use the k & m part of the kvm switch..
also, the network card is disabled on my Pro Tools computer.
