hmmm... 512, dual moniters here too. May go to 2 1GB cards soon so i can drive 3 or 4 moniters, but may hold off until i build the 6 core i7.

im almost out of letters too, but to run out, thats an achievement

Windows alone uses about 1GB here but with 2 video cards and 5 discrete drives.

ok...here is my fav util so far for W7...

1) create a folder in directory of your choosin'
2) name the folder...Master Control Panel.{ED7BA470-8E54-465E-825C-99712043E01C}
3) send a short-cut to the desktop
4) now you can rename the short-cut to your choosin'
5) you now have created a 'master' control panel that list all the tasks alphabetically...no more tryin' to find stuff layered beneath other layers...it's my go-to...no doubt

note...you can rename the 'folder' if you choose but only the part 'before' the 'dot'. this has to be part of the name ".{ED7BA470-8E54-465E-825C-99712043E01C}" (not quotes of course) by havin' a shortcut on the desktop you can remove the .{ED7BA470-8E54-465E-825C-99712043E01C} from the shortcut as long as it points to the original folder. so on my desktop it appears as 'Master Control Panel' pointin' to folder Master Control Panel.{ED7BA470-8E54-465E-825C-99712043E01C}. like i said one of my favs your navigation will become a breeze

And there are many more to share. Here's one for the advanced users. Sometimes you'll need to "take ownership" in order to make a few advanced changes in W7 64 to a registry key etc. Unfortunately, this requires many long winded steps to do. The good thing is that someone created a handy utility that will allow one to simply right-click and select "Take Ownership" to invoke this.

Simply double click the "Add_Take_Ownership" reg file to add this feature, and do the same to "Remove_Take_Ownership" which will revert back. This handy utility can be downloaded here with further info.
