I am very excited about it. I have based my usage of Mac OS X the last couple of years around Spaces, Expose, and it's great and all... but it's starting to get a little bit messy. The new "mission control" system seems like just the thing I have been wanting, to make it all more tidy. Full screen apps sounds very interesting and is something I have been missing from Mac OS. Does this mean we can maximize Pro Tools to fill the whole screen(s)? That would be GREAT.

The philosophies of bringing iPad and iPhone-like simplicity to the Mac OS interface seems interesting and may change a lot. I can see how you might look at these features as "toys" - we'll have to wait and see how they integrate into the OS and how natural it all feels. But I for one am more excited about Lion than any previous version of Mac OS. :)

iPhone/iPad OS = Sing Sing Prison
You're locked out of doing everything you need to do...hate it!!!!

OSX = ergonomic near heaven.
Best product of any kind I've ever owned. (Yes, OSX is better than 1073s)
