just start at the top of this thread and read my posts. Several issues with audio files, Elastic Audio, importing audio and LLM. Maybe the trasher will help(got my fingers crossed)

soo questions.

what rate are you running the latency on? I know its set up like the m-audio stuff now with LE where you have to find the latency rate that your computer can handle. for example I can run 64 and get occasional clicks and pops during playback but when I set it to 128 its flawless. try messing with that. also clicking ignore errors it states that: if clicked may cause clicks and pops. just some things to think about.

other thing

for the I/O have you tried saving an I/O template?

I have a digi 002 rack and m-audio octane.

I set up all my inserts and renamed them to correspond with my hardware and then exported the template as digi 002. so every time I start a session I load this up and its good to go. just a thought.

I had this problem and it was fixed when I let my digi rack 002 cool down and and computer as well not to say that was the problem but I heard if you are using a digi 002 rack it has the power harness issue and can cause the noise problems or something like that. which I don't believe but it can be something going on.

I built the 64 bit version quite a while back when we first started experimenting w 64 bit xp, just never released it to everone since it was just a few of us impatient ones that needed it. Then had to update it for 8.03 since a few things changed like the database structure and such.

I would say run the 8.01 version first just to clean the databases off your hard drives. even though it is the 32 bit version, it will do this function fine. Then run the 64 bit version.

If you ever need it, it's on the first page of the skunkworks thread. I keep that link updated to the current version.

I honestly have not used llm in a couple years. With the power of the last couple computer builds, I just track at 64. Had not even dawned on me to try it on the i7. Actually gotten so used to tracking w plugins, especially verb and delay for vocals and eleven a lot for guitar tracks I will reamp and such later it would screw up my workflow!!!!

I don't know why u guys jus won't do what I did

& I'm with Steve; I hadn't cut LLM on for a couple yrs either (even when I was on the C2D)...

Steve, the trasher doesn't work as far as trashing the Databases with 803|804 rite? I only use it to open up the plugin folders simultaneously when I need to...

8.0.4 with the 8.0.3 drivers. Brilliant!

I wont post my solution, but you already know.
