Mentioned earlier!!!

Legend on?off option Please make it separate for Edit and Mix or just make it for the Mix window as it is alright in the edit as it happens only once!

Can we have an option to color the tracks by the group colors with one click? and can we choose the color assigned to the group when we create it? for the ones that do not like colored strips please and for people that might use different color schemes for different instruments but then have them grouped eg drums and percussion etc....

The new groups position is a real PITA to see at a glance. Yes i can see it but not as easy as i use too, also some of the default color make it a bit harder to see sometimes, ...or can we make the colored group strip slightly bigger? or even better lets color the group dialog box and get rid of the color strip (just a slight tint not full color or an option for that).

I am i the only one that is finding this odd???

Working on 8 today and.... liking lots of things but i am aaaarrrrggg!!! many times, saying to myself... how stupid!! why did they do that?? damn!! This could be fantastic for Digi and all of us, Please let's fix things asap DIGI, i want to move my set up to 8.1!!! ...or is that going to be 9?? and so do many other people i know...

radio buttons in digibase for in front of every drive for unmounting!

Does anyone hate the tracks section in the upper right?

It used to be much easier to see which tracks were hidden and which were not.

Not sure what this new way benefits. I guess it makes it easier to see which tracks are selected but is that soo important?

I presume you meant the left, or are talking about something else. . . if it was the left, then yes, I don't like the new way. The dots indicate if the track is displayed in the Mix/Edit window or not, and in the past the the track name High-light (or not) was the indicator, which was much easier to scan at a glance. . . and why take up 1/4 of space w/ a dot indicator. . . we need every bit of space we can get. . .

Digibase is a painful mess. I stay clear of it.

I feel like a Neanderthal every time I have to unmount a drive.

I have pretty much abandoned PT 8 for now and am remaining on PT 7.4. Can't you Unmount a drive by Option-Click on the drive from within the Workspace window in PT8, just like earlier PT versions?

Just thought I'd check in to see if 8 was a 'must have'. It sure looks cool and seems to have some great new features but it looks like I will wait.

I borrowed a system drive with 8 etc. for a few days when i was checking if it was a good idea upgrading and few days later (less than a week) i went NO WAY!! so same here really... Then at the moment sometimes i do not have an option as some of the systems where i also do work are running 8, but as far as my LE and HD system go i am still on 7.4.2 and do not want to move on either until it all feels right.

IT IS LOTS OF FAIRLY SMALL THINGS THAT HAVE CHANGED AND THAT DO NOT MAKE ANY SENSE THAT DRIVE ME NUTS!
