time aligning an old song to pro tools..
I have returned to one of the first songs i did on a digi 001, which i used a external sequencer to control the song and pro tools was just to record on.
Now i have pro tools digi 002 running V.7 and i would like to align the song to pro tools, so that i can edit the song easier. Does anyone have any idea..???? Thanks Gary |

Re: time aligning an old song to pro tools..
Use Beat Detective on your original click track to make a new tempo map for the new grid. I do this all the time. It works.
