Hi everybody, just wanted to show you the new IK Neve emulations.

Thanks for the heads up. I think I'll check these bad boys out.

A bit on the expensive side, compared to other T-Racks CS plug-ins.

Yes, but worth the price. Sounds very good to my ears.

For those that don't know, there is currently a "buy one get one free" promotion going on at IK Multimedia.

http://www.ikmultimedia.com/trbogo/

Some products (Master EQ432, EQ73, EQ81) cannot be redeemed as the "get one free", but buying one of them still allows you to pick one of the non-restricted others as your free item. The list shows this with an asterisk by each non-eligible item.

And you can indeed use Jam Points for this promotion, up to 30% of the purchase price. Not half bad. (I bought EQ81 and used the max allowable Jam Points, picked the British Channel as my free one, for a total price of $87.99)

I got the EQ81 and the 33609 emulation for for $97 because I had $28 jam points. The Eq81 sounds nice but I need to do a mix with it before I really can have an opinion.

This deal ends the 22nd, thanks to Mesaone for the heads up.

+1

And as mentioned before, as one has no jam points to use or wants to get
more than one processor and make the most of it-
http://audiodeluxe.com offers incredible low prices (thanks again nst7).

What I did was to buy 2 processors at audio deluxe at first and 2 weeks later I
bought 150 credits in the IK Custom Shop redeeming the max amount of
jam points I got from IK for registering the former bought 2 processors.

Finally I got all the sweet sounding, new processors and I have to say I love it!
It´s really worth buying it IMO.
Thanks to IK again for this cool promotion.

Whoever has got T-RackS already and does like it´s sound, use the promo,
the new stuff is worth it!

All the best everybody,

VRW

The 81 is very nice. There's something about IK's hardware modelling that I really like. I was working on a project today and was toggling between Slate's FG-MU and IK's Vintage 670 and ended up using the IK, it just felt more authentic on the track. Doesn't always happen but did on this one.

I noticed that Pro-Tools-Expert included the IK version in their 1073 shootout. Sounded every bit as good as the UA version, and way better than the Waves version.
