Default TAL Chorus LX (free)

Just a heads up. http://kunz.corrupt.ch/products/tal-chorus-lx It was listed in the stickied thread but no one has commented, so I am reposting here for visibility.

At some point the question will be asked: how does this compare to Little Microshift? The answer is... Entirely subjective. They're not even close.

Thank you for pointing this out, I love this chorus. I also love their vocoder, maybe they will port that too

Also is there a connection between Little Microshift and the chorus on a Roland Juno?

TAL is great, very affordable as well. Would be cool if TAL filter made aax too. Great maneuverqble interface on that.

Unfortunately, there's quite a few issues and bugs with this one.

TAL Chorus LX v1.02 VST64 working well via Blue Cat Audio MB-7 v2.2&Patchwork v1.2
within Pro Tools 11.1.3.
Sounds great via MB-7. No issues with that version so far here.
...just as an alternative to v1.03 AAX if it still may be too buggy anyway...

All the best, VRW

Not that I know of, but the controls are similar.

Microshift is completely different. The I II III controls on Microshift are only indicating a switch in which unit its simulating its pitchshifting aspects from. the H910, H3000, or the AMS DMX 15-80s)

In Micropitchshift there is no chorusing, just pitchshifting and a delay time to "hold back" the affected signal in relation to the source signal, and a filter to select a frequency range it will focus its affect on.

There is no moving modulation like a chorus.

An interesting comparison might be between this and the Blue Cat free chorus.
