Default stop the digidesign databases folders

how do i stop protools from rapeing all of my harddrives with digidesign databases folders
i cant find a menu that that restricts protools only to mess with the drives i tell it to instead of every harddrive on my pc?

They even show up on my SD cards for my digital cameras.
