Default no " Level Meter " on Master Track

Hi everybody,

I have no "Level Meter " on my Master Track while playing an audio track ...
but the fader is still working ...

It still worked, but probably I killed something ...
Instrument Tracks and Midi tracks are working ...

What have I done ?

Hi,
yes I think so ...

the master fader is working ... but there is no Level meter Indicator while playing "live" ... its Ok with a recorded track

I made a new installation of PT but its still the same ...

Make sure you created a stereo master fader.

Also, hit default in the I/O setups.

Idk I'm guessing here but alt/opt k will turn on and off ur input monitoring !!! Maybe that will do ya

Thx everybody..

the master ist stereo ... I/O settings are default ....

always the same ... no LED Indicator on Level Meter in Master...
Its the same when I ´m routing audiosignal to Busses.

LED is lighning when I´m playbacking or playing Midi
audio signal is OK .... and the fader is working .. just no LED !!!

I made a complete new installion of PT and all drivers .. .

maybe something wrong in win7 ?

Do you mean the meter is not showing any action, or its not even there? No action could mean that the Master track's output is not set to the same as the rest of your tracks. In either case, I would say this fits under the category of "odd behavior" and one trick that's often worth a look for that is....trash prefs and database files(see the General Troubleshooting thread for a How-To).

Hi albee,

correct ... the meter is not showing any action, he is even there .. looks like all the other tracks ... and the fader is working ... changes volume.

I recognized that plugins are also not working ..
.. if Maxim is setted to master track there is no action in Maxim ....

I don´t know how to "trash prefs and database files ..." is it possible in Windows or just in OSX ... I have Win7

I will make a video und upload it to YT at the weekend ...
