is there a quick way to turn 2 monos in 1 stereo without having to render stems?

Select the stereo track or tracks in Pro Tools > Ctrl+Shift+K > Export Selected > Format: Stereo > Choose... > Export...

Hope that helps.

Hey shan,

Will the sd2 info work to spot back and forth between daws or is there another angle to it.

I import things from logic that way sometimes. Its easier than consolidating.

Sometimes I think people are switching to Reaper just because Avid is a soulless piece of crap company that gutted it's US operations and treats it's customers like dirt and has no pride in it's products and is run by a bunch of bean-counters that care nothing for software or audio and it seems stupid to invest money in proprietary products from a company that has shown no commitment to continuing any particular product line.

LOL... no... that couldnt be why... *cough*

I'm currently researching a new interface to go with my switch to REAPER. And guess what...? It isn't gonna be made by AVID!

AVID you have about 2 months to pull something out and keep me at your door.

*tick... tick... tick...*
