Agreed. At this price if you don't already have AIEP2 you should get this, or if you do have AIEP2 and can use these, it's a great deal for sure.

I had horrible problems with the AIEP2, but at this price I'm even considering upgrading Although I may just bite the bullet and go with Komplete 11 Ultimate upgrade.

There's some good Sonivox deals as well (InMusic owns both these brands)

Forgive the newbie question, but I'm a post guy with absolutely ZERO musical ability and I'd love to just play around. If I have no VIs at all, can I buy both of these? Or does the upgrade require something I don't already own? (besides Xpand2, of course)

Chris, you basically buy one product from the bundle for $1 and upgrade to the full thing for $75. Plus it is the latest version with extra instruments and presets and VST, AU etc.

I'd hate to look back how much I paid over the years in upgrades and such to the bundle I own, AIEP2?

The only new instrument as such is Reaktor 6. Everything else is just inclusions of old ala carte items; event the Kontakt upgrade is available for free to current Kontakt owners.

Yeah I understand that. But I'm on Komplete 9 (not ultimate) and I need some more cinematic and orchestral sounds and buying them separately would cost way more than the $599 for the upgrade. I should be able to make the upgrade price back within a couple months...ideally

If you have no VI's than this is a great deal. The only thing that the upgrade would give me is The Riser, so the price is a bit much for me.
