It's the same deal with Hybrid, I need to upgrade to 1.6 otherwise it won't work, but it's a forced paid upgrade...

Strange that just about every other VI I've got works just fine in the change from Snow Leopard and PT9 to Lion and PT10.

BTW - got the stock instruments working - found a standalone installer for/named 'Avid Virtual Instruments 10 Installer' from a (shall we say) non-Avid source (couldn't find it on the Avid website). This installed the Creative Collection content and get things running again.
