Set Selected Track to Input

I am a little frustrated trying to find an easy way to set a track to input via my Dock and S3. The best I have found so far is inside the Control ap on the "mixer" and "tracks" page, but that's a bit of a bother since it can require a few button pushes to get to it and the target area is small. A modifier key assigned to the "Record" button on either surface would help. Or, hold the "select" button and toggle through options with the "record" button.



But maybe I am missing something?

I found "Set record tracks to input" under the "Tracks" options in Eucon. This is an incomplete solution, since I still can't select input on a track without having it in record, but it's way better than nothing.


I've assigned this to the touch strip on the S3.


Any other solutions are welcomed.

Sadly there is no Input Enable mode (or button)

This has been asked for a lot. The Control app options that you've found are the only ones available for now.

In the next release you can also do this from the Channel page too (along with Solo, Mute and Record). The Shift modifier is already used on the surface Rec button for Automation mode. Maybe on the S1 the unused X button could be used.
