Default Macbook Air 2011/PT 9/Digi 002 Can this work?

Hi, I have a macbook air, 17, 8g ram. I also have PT9 which I'd like to run. My interface is the old rack 002, which has 2 firewire 400 ports. Does anyone know how I might get this running? I'd also need to connect my external monitor to the computer. Many thanks.

Can't remember off the top of my head if that MBA has a TB connection. If it does, get a TB to FW adapter and you should be fine.

I use a MBA occasionally with a FW interface and the adapter works perfectly.

If it doesn't have TB though, your SOL. You'll have to use a USB interface.
