Default For All Kontakt Users !

Hello Mates
I was having issues using Kontakt 4 on Pro Tools, frequently when i am using it sometimes all the instruments i've loaded in it disappear all of a sudden !! and i loose all my patches and tweaks !!!!!!!
I am using Pro Tools 8.0.4 With Kontakt 4, Does it have to be 4.1.1 ??? or it is supposed to work with 4 ??

Hi,

I have version 4.1.0 which i think is the latest and its working fine!

If you are losing your library then check your hard drive where your NI library samples are stored, could be a problem with your hard drive!

not the problem I had with K4. After updating to 4.1 K became "sluggish" and I went back to 4.0.5. All fine so far

As crizdee says: check your library path

Should you use an usb drive or firewire drive to store your samples?

Firewire, absolutely! Not usb.

Even better than firewire would be internal or external sata drive.
