Default Floating Fader Window - can't maximize
Hello hello,
Anybody ever seen this?
The green button at the top of the floating fader window is missing. It is blank. No green. When I click on it to maximize the window (opening the fader track's output), nothing happens.
Weird stuff.

That’s because you can’t “maximize” that window. Ever.

Mmmm. I don't think you understand. When you click on the green pin, it opens up a fader that is actually the output track (the master track or the aux it goes through) of the current track. It "adds" a second fader to the window. For example, when you want to see post fader pan for a track.I have used it many times.

there you go. Now that you know that it opens, back to my question : anybody seen this issue ever?

I did not. Because "maximize" means something very specific and what you are doing is a path meter view.

And, yes, I have seen this before. Mostly from session/tracks that came from other Pro Tools versions. (not tracks created in the same session) Usually what fixes it is reselecting the output path.

Are you running Eucon? If yes, its likely a setting in Eucon, but I don't know what setting

It’s not Eucon.
The OP’s complaint isn’t that the floating fader is popping up (that’s the Eucon complaint). The OP wants the fader. They just also want to see the path meter view.

thanks for the reply. I tried wioth a newly created empty session, and i still have the issue.
