Default 6.2 MIX24 on G4 - When?

Is there any firmer release date (first quarter, second quarter, just in time for 10.4 ) other than the vaguely worded "sometime in the future, we're working on it" for us MIX24 owners?

Thanks, jim

I´d like to know too - except we have a G5.

I installed 6.2.2 on 10.3.1 with a G4 733 DA right when it was released and I haven't had any problems so far. I haven't done as much work as normal so I haven't fully tested it yet but stuff seems ok.

Hmmm, I wonder what the issues that digidesign discovered are? Perhaps they are obscure - perhaps not. As much as I'd like to try it, I think I'll wait a little longer.

Thanks, Jim

Yeah, I am curious what problems they found also. If I run into any problems I can install 10.2 on another hard drive or switch to OS9 so I am not really worried. It is good to play it safe until they approve it though. I was just impatient cause 10.3 on my laptop with my Digi002 was really working well and I love some of the new OS stuff like Expose.

I'd like to know when various bugs with HD on 10.2.x are going to be sorted out. e.g. machine control dropping out of record with random messages.......

It's very nice that the new G5s can run PT, but what about the G4 users, HD or MIX??
