Default DAE Error 1123 Flex Cable Not Connected Properly

Just loaded 7.4 and switched to the digi recommended os version 10.4.9. I'm getting this Flex able error.(1123 DAE Error) The only solution I have seen so far is to reboot your computer. Is there a better way to fix this problem permanently? It would be much better if I could resolve the problem and never have it happen again. Any help or suggestions would be helpful.

Hi,

So a reboot and it works ok from there on?

The system works ok once you are booted into PT?

The best thing to try is to re-install PT, using the safe option when you un-install and it wont remove any third party plugins etc, just the digi PT files, it will only take 5 mins. the uninstaller is in the digi folder in applications or on your install CD!!

Personally I would not recommend reinstalling ProTools. I went thru a spell of these soon after upgrading to version 7x. Usually a restart is what it takes. No amount of trashing prefs did any good. What worked for me was getting better ventilation on my DSP cards. I've got mine in a chassis. I pulled it out of my rack, and I leave the lid cracked a little, no more 1123 Errors.

Hey thanks for the replies. I figured out what the problem was. The Accel card wasnt seated properly. It was an easy fix this time! I do have a whole other list of issues now though.
