this ? is for both mix24 5.1 and le 6.4

i am trying to transfer from a pc using xp pro ptle 6.4 to a mac using os9 mix 24 5.1.I have put everything on a firewire drive and keep getting the same error dae error-51 and i also tried putting the session and audio files on the mac drive same thing. every once in a while i will get the message end of file reached .The file names are short like 10.aiff.I am also saving it in pt50 version any help

try and create a new session then do an "inport tracks" from the original corruped session. also, amke sure you open pro tools first from your internal hard drive.
