Final Cut X not eligible for Media Composer Crossgrade
Thought I'd mention this here.
This is yet another reason not to buy the new Final Cut X. It's not eligible for the $995 promotional offer for Media Composer 5.5. Apparently this is only for FCP 7 or earlier: http://avid.custkb.com/avid/app/self...p?DocId=396211 Interesting.

Well that kind of makes sense.
FCP 7 was 1k? 2k? Everyone could go buy FCX and upgrade. Though, they could offer a FCX crossgrade at a higher cost. Like Musicians toolkit to complete.
