Vocal Volume?
I am running Fast Track Interface and of course Pro Tool Essential software that came with it. When I'm recording my vocal while playing an instrumental, sometime it's hard for me to hear my own voice after I'm done recording. I have to get near the mic to get a good hearing of my own voice when recording. I even have the "Mic Gain" set up pretty high too(pointing at 2-3 O clock position. Is there a way to up the volume from PT Essential where I don't have to be so close to the mic? I do have a pop filter too which helps alot for more cleararity when recording. I have my buffer size set to 512 sample.
I'm using an MXL V63M condenser microphone. Thanks guys/gals.
