I don't use Sonnox or McDSP, but Soundtoys plugins are working fine under Sequoia in Native mode. Latest version of Sequoia, Pro Tools, Soundtoys, and a buncha other plugins. The only time I see an error code is if I leave Pro Tools running over night. Otherwise it's smooth sailing here.

I have but don't use Sonnox and McDSP plugs so can't report on them, however I've not seen reports of people having issues with either. Sometimes companies are just cautious about approving their products.
right..... but.....

McDSP literally said "There are currently some known issues with our Plug-Ins on MacOS Sequoia. We kindly ask that you do not update your system until we reach out via this ticket or subscribe to our newsletter."

MDW said " EQ6 has an ongoing graphic issue that we have been working tirelessly to resolve -a new release will be coming out very soon......"

and Sonnox posts on their website basically "Apple M4 chip = bad. "

so just sharing this info.

I (and others) have tested this with sessions which used K7, K6 and K5 and all of the data and routing was properly imported into K8.
This is great to know!

I'm running K8. Nice to know I can nuke the older versions!

Thanks

I looked at Sonnox out of curiosity and you're right. They specifically point out M4 is the problem not Sequoia. They say "serious issues".

.
Thanks for confirming that works. yes it sounds weird that I wanted to keep K5 going, but I wanted forward/backward compatibility with an Intel Rig stuck on Catalina...that computer unfortunately just decided to give up the ghost, so I've accepted my fate & swapped it over for an Mac Studio+Sonnet Echo Express III Chassis arrangement & upgraded to K8..all seems to be running smoothly, I just need to do that 'quiet fan' replacement procedure on the noisey fan in the chassis..

They specifically single out ILok as being the company that needs to address it.

Thankfully, some companies, like Universal Audio, are working directly with iLoc to resolve issues Luna is having with Apple M4 processors, Sequoia and iLoc. What they learn may solve all the issues with M4 processors, Sequoia and iLoc…at least I am hoping so.

I wonder if their data is changing. That's not a great sign but at least they're working on it.
