Scrolling the timeline (during edit)
Is there a way to scroll the timeline left-right (during edit, NOT playback) by using the trackpad (2 finger swipe, or similar)?

That's zooming in and out, at least in my setup.
I'm looking for a way to easily navigate left-right, without having to grab the scrollbar handle.

Shift-Scroll should do it.
I don't know if Windows PT will scroll horizontally with a trackpad unless you set it up with a third party utility. But I haven't used Windows in a while so could be wrong.

Genius!
Shift-scroll does it! Just not the way I expected (fingers go up-down for a left-right movement). Saves me hours.
