Default Midi Machine Control ...

Does anybody use midi machine control?

I have a friend who is a composer who wants to use (2) computers. 1 computer has a new pro tools HD system on it while the other has Performer (and is also playing a QT movie).

He wants to be able to locate in performer and make pro tools update and jump to those locations via midi machine control.

If he's using a normal timecode setup he'd have to hit play everytime he wants pro tools to jump to a new location.

Anybody use pro tools with performer or logic this way?
