“ We X-99ers won't be able to run 11 because an X99 won't accept the newer CPUs that are required.”
My Gigabyte x99 mobo has a (empty for now) TPM socket on it.

I know it has a TPM2 socket, but the problem remains the requirement of newer generation CPUs that won't fit the socket or work with the chipset.

Curious about that, Bob. That board/processor (i7 lga 2011) is in my working (but soon to be upgraded) Pro Tools rig as we speak. New i9/Asus x299 with onboard TPM is going into service soon, so I’ll repurpose the Gigabyte i7 rig, but was looking for “future compatibility.” I might have mistakenly assumed that if it’s working in its current configuration, that it would “see” the TPM chip. If I can find one.
