I'm pretty sure that the boxed version is being revved to include Pro Tools M-Powered 8.0.3 installation disks instead of 8.0 disks. When a product is scheduled for a revision like that, there is generally a timetable set to slow down or stop production of the original packaging so that there is not a lot of stock that has to be changed over.

I think that the store just ran out of stock of the boxes with the 8.0 disks, and are waiting on the stock with 8.0.3 disks before being able to list it in stock again.

Hey,

Suffering from the same problem here.. I ordered it almost a month ago and time after another i'm given a new estimate for the arrival of the product to the warehouse, which is currently 25.3.10 just after it just was 8.3. I'm really getting frustrated with this.. Just as i decided to change from Logic to Pro Tools and this is what i get - nice :).

Ugh.

I'll try and ask for more specific information and will post here if i get anything usable.
