Runnig PT-LE 8.0.4cs2 and 9.0 on a Mac Pro.
Your kind response appreciated:
Want to run both 8.0.4cs2 and 9.0. MacPro has one disk with 8.4 fully functional with an 002r. Fresh second internal disk loaded with Mac OS 10.6.5. I can now boot on ether disk and OS. Looking at a cross-grade to PT 9 on the second internal disk with 10.6.5. Question: During registration for PT9 cross-grade (iLoc ID) and 002r ser#, will I forfeit my PT 8 license and no longer be able to use PT 8.0.4cs2 with the 002r on the disk loaded with 8.0.4cs2? I would like to have the option of using the 002r on both PT 8.0.4cs2 and PT 9 as well as a Mackie Blackbird with PT9. Is this possible? I can not seem to find a specific answer to these questions on the forum. Also, are there any other potential problems I may encounter attempting this action? Thank you forum members for any advice.
