Default Perhaps a stupid Euphonix / HUI question

Was wondering if there is a way with the MC control to select a track in PT and then perform a key combination on the keyboard or MC itslef to nudge / bank faders and map/place your selected track onto one of the 4 faders on the MC Control. Basically like a "goto selected track" nudge feature. This would save me a lot of time when working large sessions in a mix (until I can justify buying multiple MC mixes)

EDIT: I should mention that I am currently using the MC Control under HUI emulation via Eucon Software in PTLE8 with CPTK. I will be crossgrading to 9 in a couple of months but for now this would be really helpful

Cheers

The 'Auto-bank to selected track' option in EuControl used to do this early on but was broken in an update and never fixed. Try shift-ctrl clicking on the track name in PT. This sets that track as the first track of the first bank, which means it should show up as the far left fader on your MC Control.

Slightly tangential question, but is there anything like D-Command's custom faders with the Euphonix boards? ie so you can have faders that aren't adjacent in the PT mix window mapped to consecutive faders on the MC?
(Sorry if this is an obvious question: I don't own one ... yet.)

from the Euphonix Website:

Quote:
Auto-bank to Selected Track is disabled in Pro Tools by default. There is a custom plist entry that can re-enable this feature on your system.

Open com.euphonix.eucon.plist (/library/preferences/...) using a plist editor
Add a new item.
Name it "EuControl/ProToolsAutoBanksToSelectedTrack"
Give it a string value, 1=on 0=off
Save the file and reboot.
Note: make sure to close EuControl before editing the plist file.
Cheers!
