Default CD Architech Beta Update out.

Quote:
The pre-release version of CD Architect has been extremely well received.
Audio professionals are testing the application in record numbers.

Many users have provided feedback on this initial beta version, and
we've incorporated these suggestions into an updated build of the application,
located at: http://www.sonicfoundry.com/download/step2.asp?DID=409

This new update, in addition to general fixes and stability enhancements,
includes:

- Resolution of drive scan/burn issues providing decreased CD device seek times.
- Improvements to the CD audio extract dialog.
- CD Image file read/write.
- Addition of a second audio layer for complex mixing and crossfades.

CD Architect remains the Red Book Audio CD burning tool of choice for professionals.
CD Architect 5.0 offers:

- Red Book CD burning
- Full PQ code editing
- Over 20 real-time DirectX® effects
- Smart track reordering
- Event normalization
- Dual monitor support
- Support for up to 32-bit/192kHz audio
- Expanded drive support including Firewire and USB devices
- And much more.

CD Architect 5.0 supports a long list of USB, Firewire, SCSI and
IDE/ATAPI CD recorders.

This pre-release version will be available through November 4, 2002,
and expires on November 8, 2002.
