Default MC Transport colours...

Is it possible to add more LED-light colour options thru software updates - softkeys at present only yellow or nothing and transport keys yellow/red or yellow/green - I think I saw on some of the new product pictures of the MC Control v. 2 that it had blue as well...

Can you please elaborate on this?

the colors are built into the LEDS. There was an orange option, but it looks almost identical to the Yellow. The LEDs are not full RGB.

The blue you saw is most likely the MC Pro - it uses LCD Smart Switches.

I get the orange on startup, but after that I find no way to set it to other than red or yellow and I've tried most values in the coloring panel - how do I set it?

The three "big knobs in the middle" are yellow and green, but the 2+2 on the sides should manage to be yellow, red AND orange and that is where I only get red + yellow.

Couldn't someone at Euphonix take 2 hours to make some smart presets (downloadable) for Safari, Mail AND Finder?

For Pro Tools 8.04 I've set it up to correspond with the Digi002 so I can have the Digi002 on the left side (8 tracks) and the MC Tranport + 1 MC Mix on my right side (following 8 tracks) working together in PT and on it's own in Logic, Safari, Mail and Finder at the same time.

6.10 Color Click the Color button and select a color from the standard Mac dialog for the se-
lected key. That color is used to color the key in EuControl, not on the surface.
The Soft Keys light yellow in their active states and are unlit otherwise. The Transport keys can each light with two colors. The two outer keys on each side can light yellow or red. The three center keys can light yellow or green. If an alternate color is selected, the surface key uses the closest allowable color (yellow/green or yellow/red) or defaults to yellow if the color selected is not close to one of the two allowable colors.

..but still, when I turn it on it goes orange on the yellow/red keys - how do I program that since it can clearly show it?

"MC Transport offers you seven programmable transport/navigation keys with multi-color status LEDs. These controls automatically switch to match whatever application is in focus and can be customized to suit your workflow."
Are they multi-color or are they just two-color status LED´s?

I have a similar or maybe the same question : why do some of the choices have a lit when on and others have no light at all? Example, speakers a,b and c choices have no light when on or off, yellow or otherwise. Is there any way to get user choices activated? Thanks.
