Default Pro Tools 8.0.3 won't find my M-Audio MobilePre USB Academic

Hello, I have upgraded to Pro Tools 8.0.3, the latest version offered as being compatible with my MobilePre USB Academic audio interface. When I try to install Pro Tools, it keeps coming up with the message that it cannot find the MobilePre. I know it is connected and double-checked it in the Apple system Profiler - it is recognized there. I definitely installed the correct Pro Tools M-Powered 8.0.3 version. I'm not sure what else I can try. I've unplugged it and re-started it many times with no change. I downloaded the latest MobilePre USB driver, version 1.8, and installed that. Any ideas? Thanks.

OS 10.6.5 MacPro Intel I downloaded the latest M-Audio version I could find. I did not see pro tools 8.0.4cs2. Is that compatible with the M-audio products?

10.6.5 is not compatible with Pro Tools 8.0.3! I would update to 8.0.4cs2. Just login to your account with avid.com and you should find the update. Technically 10.6.5 is also not supported yet but it should work regardless. If that does not work you might have to downgrade to 10.6.4? if that is possible. Try 8.0.4 first though.

later,

Scott
