Busted Fader
Ok.
I've got a Control 24, obviously. However, fader number 8 is more anxioius than the others. It thinks it's max (1023) is about a half inch above the others. So when I do fader tests on the board it goes to the top before any of the other ones and then shakes violently (for a fader) and makes a horrible buzzing noise. I'm wondering if there's anyway to recalibrate that fader so that its in line with all the others. Any ideas or do i have to send my board off to digidesign and pay $4,462.87 and a hay penny to fix. -Chris- |

Re: Busted Fader
Most likely it is a bad fader controller. I've had a problem of this type, replaced the fader with same results. Call digidesign support, they'll replace it but you'll have to pay for it, unless its still under warranty.
Hope it helps. |

Re: Busted Fader
I'm wondering if I'm having a similar situation.. FADER#3 (from the left) vibrates uncontrollably when I either bank or switch memory locator snapshots. It happens about 85% of the time. No other faders are affected. Also, the PSU was swapped out about 4 months ago. Related??
