Im not getting sound

in setup i selected my speakers that are the default to my laptop but I have no sound. I have no others speakers hooked up to it as well. Mentions there is a report but having difficulty finding the text file.

Was all excited to get started but it will not play and I can not hear anything. any one else encounter this sort of thing?

Could you give LESS info Shooting from the hip, since I have nothing to go on, for any Windows laptop, you need an ASIO driver that works with your sound card. If your sound card does not offer one, ASIO4ALL is worth a try(its free). It will require some setup before it works. Ultimately, you will be much happier with a "real" interface of some kind. Focusrite, SSL, Audient and Presonus all make some really decent ones for around $200.
