How do you change track names in PT from the Control app?

Hi everyone,

I feel like I’m losing my mind because I cannot for the life of me get the Control app to allow me to change the track names in my Pro Tools session. I believe that I read in the Eucontrol manual that all you need to do is double click on the text filed and your keyboard will pop up to enter it, but I can’t get it to work. Is there something I have set incorrectly somewhere that is locking me out of being able to do this? I’m using an 8th generation regular iPad with the latest OS and a 20187iMac 21.5”. Thanks for the help.

What version of PT do you have, you need 20.11 onwards for this to work as changes were need in PT for this feature. Just double tap a track in the App and it will bring up the rename box.
