Default S3 - button for Trim Mode - stopped working

While I can use the [Rec] button in S3 the scroll through all automation modes I can't seem to find any way to toggle Trim mode. Thought it would be [Command Rec] or something... Is this not changeable from the S3?

I believe there's no Key Command to toggle Trim Mode either?

EDIT: TJ Allen helped me out, but then it stopped working again, and other soft keys too. Please if anyone can shed some light. Image, of my settings in post #6.

You can set a Softkey to do it. Then you just hold that Softkey and tap the Sel button on the channel you want to drop into Trim.

Ok great news, I'll look into that. This is a worklplace setup so I'm not sure how much I can change without making other's angry.

Anyway, is this done in the EuCon setup application? How do I find my way to the setting?

Yes - all soft keys on the S3 can be customised in the Eucon application.

In theory if your unit is in it's Factory Configuration, you shouldn't actually need to, as the right hand softkeys are programmed to Automation control. Mine are customised, so I can't tell you exactly, but off the top of my head, I think F7 is the Trim key.

Check the manual for details.

Strange, now the function is gone again. I can see the Trim command in the EuControl Settings (se picture) but it doesn't have effect in ProTools. Seems like no Softkeys work. All other things on S3 seems to work. Do I have to activatde Softkeys in Protools somewhere?
