Default Conflicts between Windows emulators and DAWS

Howdy,

I'm interested in getting a Windows emulator for my G4 MP because I want to learn Office Pro (PC) for the purpose of enhancing emplyment and I don't want to buy some cheap PC just for that. Three questions:

1. Do Windows emulators cause any problems when loaded on a Mac that also has DAW suites like Digi001/PT LE and Logic Audio Platinum (all audio software will be Mac OS--the emulator is simply for PC productivity software).

2. Can anyone suggest which Windows emulator is best (least conflicts, best compatibilty, performance, and reliability) for what I'm trying to do?

3. Will a Windows emulator let me run PC programming suites like MS VIsual Basic Studio?

Thanks in advance,

DC
