Windows 10 Start menu

I am using Pro Tools 12.5 in Windows 10, which I upgraded from Windows 7. I find in Windows 10 I have to go into the Services window of the task manager and manually start the Pace Anti-piracy app in order to get Pro Tools to start. Every time I turn off the computer and start it again, this service is stopped. Does anybody know how I get this into the start menu so I don't have to mess with this every time I start the computer? It was simple in Windows 7, but Windows 10 is a whole new ballgame. Thank you.

You should be able to go to the properties of a service, and enable automatic start, something like that... I think there's also a delayed start option, which is sometimes a better choice for Pace

the delayed start solved the same problem w win10 and PT12.5. Benoni has a nice Youtube piece on this

Delayed start is how I had mine set as well, and I had to do this manually (after a Win7 to Win10 upgrade). So pretty much the same as you.

I'm not sure if this same problem occurred after I did a fresh Win 10 install or not, I can't remember.

Uninstall any Pace/iLok software and then reinstall the most recent versions. That should take care of it.

Clean install of W10 here and no Pace issues.
