Fades in 12.7 wiered

Dear all,

can someone confirm the behavior of fades? In "old times" (pt.11.3) I could just cut the tail of a clip and it was gone including the fades. Now the fades jump to the left to the new ending of the clip and messing around there.

This does not happen at the top of a clip. The option "preserve fades..." is switched OFF. Toggling it does not change anything in this behavior.

IF this feature "preserve fades" would work how intended (looks like a bug here for me) it would be just grat to have it in the OPTIONS menu in order to give it a shortcut through macOS.

Do I miss another setting or is it a bug here?

hi markus, you do not say what version of PT or mac or PC .. BUT i tested here with 12.7 / Mac OS 10.9.5 and Fades are Working Correctly on head and tail of a Clip .. i have preserve fades turned off as well ..

OSX 10.10.5
MacPro 5,1 12cr 32GbRam
PT12.7.0 HD no DSP

Same Session in 11.3.2 on the same Comp work normaly.

corrupted session maybe ??? does it happen in a fresh session made in 12.7 ?? or just from older sessions ??

I have seen the same issue. It doesn't happen all the time but when it does it seems to always be at the end of a clip.
If I select the area and choose delete fades from the menu, then it deletes it.
I also have the "preserve fades" option off.

I have seen this too.
12.7
Sierra 10.12.2 MBP (but happened in Yosemite too) and Win 10
Not a game changer, but annoying.
