Hello,
Did some googling on this, but can't find anything. Is there a keyboard shortcut to toggle between the different modes of the counter/transport? i.e. I want to switch back and forth between mins and secs to bars and beats quickly. Thanks! |

Not that I know of but there may be some way of doing it.

Hi,
I might be in the minority on this, but my preference is not to use the big counter. On the Edit window counter, the main format is min. & sec. and for the sub counter, I use bars & beats - that way they are both visible always. But I don't know of a keyboard shortcut to toggle either.

Actually, I just discovered the "extended transport" from right clicking on the transport window in the edit. That's awesome, because now I can see the pre roll without the transport window being open. Now I have the start, end, and length displayed twice. I wonder if I can change the view on one of them... And after poking around a bit more, it seems like just clicking the bars/beats or min secs ruler in the edit window is a one click way to accomplish what I want. |

Just jumping on the bandwagon at this point, but it really would be nice to have that shortcut. The world won't end without it, but it would be convenient.

Use something like FastScripts to fire off these scripts. You can assign any key combination or button push to trigger these.
Click to download NOTE: Clicking the link WILL automatically start the download! You could also add a shortcut in your keyboard settings in System Preferences.
