Default sorting audio files

Why cant a session "remember " the sorting options?
I ALWAY want the sorting of the audio files window to be " By creation date"

Every time I open a session I must do this.
It becomes more of a drag because it uses that active pop up window. It should be a pop up that stays up. So you can do all the moves you want , then close it.
the same pop up flaw is in the "Display" options. You have to select " show beat" it closes the you do it agian " show meter" do it again "show markers" ... waste of time!!!
Unless you happen to want "show all" (never)
