Default Fast Track Pro Firmware Screw-UP!

Hey all!

The other day I was about to record some vocal tracks when I realised my M-Audio Fast Track Pro was delivering a sort of “bitcrushing effect” sounds when monitoring the mix output.
I looked it up on the Internet and found out that It was probably because of some mess with the drivers (i had recently installed some new audio drivers for the pc).

So I downloaded some new drivers for the Fast Track Pro that were released a month ago. Anyways, I installed them correctly and then it started to update the firmware inside the Fast Track Pro (something that none of the drivers before ever did).

The thing is that it crashed while doing this and the firmware updater clearly stated not to interrupt the process, thing that happened when it crashed

Now my Fast Track Pro is not detected by ANY computer. Is there a way to revert this?
Thank you very much!!

Default Re: Fast Track Pro Firmware Screw-UP!

I recall rumors of connecting them to a Mac and doing the driver install/firmware update helping, but I cant guarantee it.

If it isn't being detected at all on multiple PC's, then I think you'll probably have to send it for repair.
