Hey guys i am looking to sell my HD1 set up PCI-E and i creep around on the forums and have been seeing some post about new TDM cards that may or may not be coming out. Anyone have any thoughts/comments/inside info on when these things come out. I am sure i will take a huge hit once they do and that is what i am concerned about.

its very likely avid will offer an upgrade option. so keep it for now, and then use the card to trade up to the new ones when they come out.

Well right now as I stand I want to sell my HD rig not upgrade it. That's why I'm so concerned about it. The main piece in my rig where I will make most of my money is the HD Core card.

Well NAMM 2011 is around the corner. so if anything about HD and anything about the next 00x. It will be announced there.

Even though you might want to get out of HD, if new cards do come out soon, your current ones may have more resale value because the new owner can trade them in (assuming you do a transfer of ownership form).

There are several solid indications that Avid will have some kind of new product or products at NAMM, based on very recent posts here on the forum and on airusersblog.com.
