Default Is There A Key Command for This?

If I create a large group, then later click on that group's name in the GROUP list, all the faders will light with that groups color, but the idea is, I want to be able to to choose all members of the group so I can use a menu command like "MAKE SELECTED TRACKS INACTIVE." Clicking the group name doesn't select all the members of the group for this operation.....what am I forgetting here?

Thanks!

Click to the left of the group letter in the group list to select all tracks assigned to the group.

Option + Shift is the modifier to work with selected tracks.

Interesting. I didn't know that. What I do in a situation like that is to control click on the group, which "solo's that group of tracks visually, and hides all the others. The you can option-select the tracks in the edit window and all will be selected. the modify at will. I wil go try rail's simpler way though. cool.

You can make alot of magic with control/alt/shift clicking inside Track and Group lists - very handy secret...something like control click on track name in edit window brings up the same channel in narrowed mix window..and vice versa

You can do a lot of magic with ctrl/alt/shift clicking inside Group as well as Audio lists ... very handy little DIGI secret... something like ctrl clicking on track name in Edit window brings the same channel in resized Mix window for those who does not have two monitors or have too many tracks.
