Read the 2nd thread from the top of the forum, "Audio Record or Playback Volume Error Info"

Re: what does this error message mean?
thanks slim shady. I had read that thread sometime ago when I as first installing, and I've taken all the steps necessary (I believe). I ran all the updates, am running the correct version of PT for my OS, etc.... perhaps I am missing something here? I mean, what would have made the external hard drive allocation change in a matter of hours? I've been re-reading the thread since I posted this a little while ago.
But regardless, does that thread mean that I should copy my entire external hard drive to my internal drive and reset my external drive with the correct labels for recording enabling it? Once I do that, if re-transfer my files over, they should all open correctly? maybe I've missed the entire point, but that is what I'm getting from that my re-read of that thread and my read through of it previously. |
