Default Merging Appset files

Hey guys,

Is there any way to merge custom appsets from two different S6’s?

There are great custom softkeys we made on two different systems and we’d like to merge them into one. I know these are just xml files but was wondering if there’s any easy way to know where the custom code starts to copy and paste into one.

Also, is there a maximum aspect ratio for the soft key icons?

Thanks for the tips.

Greetings,

Your options for tweaking Soft Key appsets are as follows:

(1) EuconLayouter from Sonic Monk: http://www.sonic-monk.com/euconlayouter/index.shtml

(2) XML Editor. Modifying, copying and pasting chunks of code on a larger scale.

(3) Manual Editing.

All of the icon bitmaps are 72 DPI with an average of 55x55 pixels. With that said, icons can be as wide as 175 pixels and as tall as 70 pixels.

Perfect. Thanks Jeff.

I'm familiar with EuconLayouter but wasn't sure if it has the capability to merge from two different files. I'll check that out.

Thanks for icon info as well.

Best,
Mike
