Hi ..hope someone here can help
Mac Pro late 2013 HIgh Sierra 10.13.6 Protools 2018.12 every time I try and boot I get "The application Protools has quit unexpectedly" been trying for 2 days...trashed prefs so now there are none to trash created a new user logged in and tried that didn't work. I've been using PT for 23 years never had this problem...anyone have any ideas? Thank you in advance!!! |

Is that a clean install of 10.13.6 or upgrade over upgrade?

Its an upgrade from 10.13.3 to 10.13.6...

Im not sure if anyone from avid checks this thing.....But Ive had this problem and been unable to use my main system since monday..Im still waiting on Avid tech support to get back to me. The first person I spoke to didnt resolve the problem. I have 2 licences, an Ultimate and regular protools...I pay 500 dollars a year for support, and the one time I need it I cant get it. What the hell?

Trashing prefs is step #1 for odd behavior(and this sounds odd to me). In fact, I would uninstall Pro Tools(and prefs) and reinstall
