NEW BUG (Double shortcup with numeric pad)

Hi, I have an issue with Protools Studio 2022 (Magic keyboard 2017 wireless / MAC STUDIO 2022). Since I installed it, I cannot use some Shortcuts : Apple+2 (session setup) / Apple+5 (Memory locations) etc...

When I use one of these shortcuts, it runs twice, so my window is never open. I know it runs twice because I see the "Window" or "Setup" menu flashes 2 times very fast.

I only have an issue with these shortcuts, all numeric pad shortcuts (Video, memory locations, automation, session setup etc...)

Are you shure the window isn't showing on a different monitor, or a different 'Space'? Just a thought. I have this happen quite often with multiple monitors/spaces.

Hi,

I wasn't at home since I posted this message. No, the problem is not this one. When I use a numeric shortcut, it applies 2 times. For example, apple+9 for video make appear and disapear instantly the Video Window.

I cannot use 1 and 2 for the transport but I can use 3 to record.

I tried with an other APPLE keyboard (with wire this time) and I have the same problem.

I have no shortcut in my OS

If someone has idea ?

I don't understand at all what's wrong, I'm just fed up with these bugs !

I am not seeing that behaviour on my system.

I just did the VENTURA 13.2.1 update and I still have the same issue with my protools's numeric pad shortcuts.

If I clic on "Window" to open the window menu (on the top bar), and next for example, apple+5 (memory loc), The Memory location window appear and the menu disappear. But If I dont open the menu beofre doing the shortcut, nothing is opening and I see the "Window" menu flash 2 times.

And when I already have the Memory location window open and I do apple+5, It closes the window (but still with 2 flash on the "Window" menu)

Anyone has an idea ?

Still the same issue with protools 2023 BUT I binded the shortcuts on other keys with the new customize keyboard system.

Tried over here, Magic Keyboard on MacBook Pro m2 max under MacOS Ventura 13.2.1 , Pro Tools 2023.3 , works like a charm, no problem.

Are you on an intel Mac? The other user reporting this problem is on a Mac Pro 6.1 , perhaps it's an intel Mac related issue? I don't know ...
