Mbox Pro some front panel buttons not working!

Since a while back a couple of the soft buttons on the Mbox Pro front panel has stopped working!

The mono physical button does not work at all, but pressing the mono button in the mixer software works and also lights the button!

The Multi button does work in Pro Tools.
The Dim button works as expected AND also the hold to mute function.

The Spkr button doesn't work at all, but pressing the speaker symbol in the mixer software works and changes the LED color.

HOWEVER since the spkr button doesn't work - i can't press and hold it to switch to aux 5/6 input monitoring!
Something i used quite a lot until it suddenly decided to stop working.
Once it also got "stuck" in 5/6 input monitoring so i couldn't even use Pro Tools.

Anyone know of a workaround for the Aux 5/6 monitoring?

I've clean uninstalled protools 10, 11, drivers and reinstalled everything to no avail - and i really don't want to reinstall Windows. That seems so 1990'ish.
This has to be a mbox pro driver issue?

I'm running Windows 7 64 bit with all updates.
