Default Overlapping Regions

Greetings,

On the same track, when 2 regions are over lapping, The sound from Region 1 cuts out and Region 2 becomes dominant.

Is there any way to have sound from both regions playing at the same time on the same track?

This problem could occur when punching in over a already recorded region, or copy and pasteing a chrous that starts before bar 1.

I hope this makes sence, someone please help. Please ask any questions to help clerify my problem.

crossfades

(there is also an option to place crossfades of a predesignated length at punchpoints)

Certainly read the section in the reference guide on corssfades. There are several means by which you can apply them, and learning all of them may save you a great deal of time. Pay particular attention to the last section of chapter 17: the smart tool, and chapter 19: Fades and Crossfades.
